The April 1989 issue of Just Cross Stitch has just couple of patterns that I would stitch and perhaps $1.25 was not exactly a bargain but I couldn’t resist thrifting it.
I stitched just the butterfly of the chart and changed all the thread colors. I also hand dyed the cloth. I am delighted with how it turned out.

- Cloth: Hand dyed Aida 14 count
- Fabric Size: 6 1/2 x 71/2 (cut to fit my modification)
- Thread: DMCs 400, 452, 646, 938, 3802 and 3813
